Foaled 5/27/95 in Pueblo, 15.1-2h. Works off leg
cues- picks up leads, side-passes, neck reins &
has a nice stop. Stands well for farrier,
clipping, bathing, shots, worming (UTD on both).
Practically loads himself into a trailer, ground
ties, has good hard feet (currently shod) & fine
to catch. He can be left for months & then be
ridden by a 12yr old & be the exact same horse.
We've had him 3 yrs & NEVER had any buck, bite or
rear- not even a hint. He does prefer the company
of other horses, but rides out alone/back fine.
He's also husband/kid friendly. Our 12 yr old
daughter (and other saddle club kids this summer)
started riding him this summer & had a blast as he
has some get up and go & a TON of heart. If he
can't do it, he'll die trying! We've used him in
the mountains- thru water and some pretty rough
stuff. Also did Team Sorting w/ the kids (see
video) this summer. Slight arthritis (?) or
possible old injury before we got him in left
shoulder was aggravated by my daughters incessant
barrels/poles this summer and being ridden VERY
hard multiple days a week. He's on the mend now
with rest, but will never be able to withstand how
hard we ride.
